I know anxiety well and have learned so much about it through my research and work with children. I can happily say that my anxiety is no longer something that holds me back at all! I designed this online, on demand program for parents and caregivers who need confidence, resources and practical ways to help their anxious child.

 How the program works

Each topic is broken down into short videos that you can watch when you have time. They are supported with handouts and ideas for you to try.

 
 

step one

This programme begins by discussing the science of our stress response system, a must for understanding anxiety. I then speak about attachment and early experiences and their impact on our wiring.

 

step three

Then comes the play part- I talk you through the reason why play can be a remedy for anxiety and different types of play and creativity you can use at home.

 
 

step two

I talk you through setting the home environment up for success and give you conscious parenting strategies to use immediately with your anxious child.

 

step four

We then move on to cognitive behavioral style approaches for helping children with worries, followed by the importance of self-esteem building and how you can work on that.
